Red Canister Set Setting Up A Canister Filter For A Beginner?

Setting up a canister filter for a beginner? - red canister set

Hello everyone,

I have two Red-controller, and I will) earlier (50 gallons or less tank. They poo all day and need something more powerful filters. At the moment I have a whisper 40 filters in the tank that's doing well and requires tons of food.

I know, that the fundamentals of chemical filtration (biological, mechanical) and water quality, but I want to know more about cartridge filter. I have seen many places that do not contain, however, say what many ... all kinds of unexplained jargon and descriptions of the things I've ever seen.

Can you a detailed introduction to the filter cartridge beginner? For example, what does it mean to "prepare"? How do I change the filter media, and how often have you done? What are some boxes do you recommend for fudgy turtles, taking into account the quality, performance, ease of maintenance and price?

Thank you!

let you know if your whsper filter over water and it must work to serve in a cup on the back? as "priming. From what I personally prefer as a filter cartridge filter Fluval Ehiem some. There are many brands and some do anyway. ehiem Fluval and I am more familiar with what they know, they have models that are themselves or Prim-chip with just a small pump that is built on top of the filter. As for the configuration that you are one of the directions that come with them is more than accurate enough, as the smooth running and if it is still unclear then it will be easier if you know what filter you have. They range from $ 100USD on, depending on how much water you want to make more than one hour. In addition, the water per hour, it is more expensive. All canister filters are relatively easy to maintain and not to them almost as clean as you BioBag style filter that you're using. Hope this helps and good luck with the turtles.
Plus: forI did change one thing, carbon, or whatever you used as filter media in the pot to change the filter, you just turn the screen and it is usually a kind of sponge, background, and baskets for all filter media, which will only say that facilitate carbon permits. , Put the carbon in baskets that are stacked on the container and changed only the bags of charcoal and sponge clean or replace, if not all maintenance work on the filter.
